The rear of the building consists of six dog runs with two alleys between them.

The kennels are firmly anchored to the concrete slab behind the building. Each structure is connected to each other to provide additional strength.

Additional cages were placed inside the building allowing the animal to have access to the controlled environment. An access door connects the exterior cages to the cages located inside the building.
